Beauty on the runway has evolved into “embracing individuality and not using makeup as a mask anymore.” And while minimal, natural beauty is not a truly new look on the runway, thanks to designers like Valentino and Badgley Mischka who consistently showcase various styles of the “no makeup” look season after season, the trend has become a refreshing sight showcased in shows from New York to Milan. It remains to be seen whether  color will  pop up on the Spring/Summer 2019 runways, but it seems that this might be the year that minimal colored finally takes off.
