Christian Siriano Celebrates 10th Anniversary With Glam Spring/ Summer 2018 Collection AT NYFW
For his spring 2018 collection, Siriano created a colorful range of garments that any person will find beautiful. And he put them on his most diverse model lineup yet for his runway show. Dark skin, light skin, plus, thin, male, female, trans — his models were reflective of the broader world. And most importantly, the many different types of people who love his work.
“It’s about just being beautiful,” Siriano said backstage. “No matter who you are or where you come from and what you are, you can
feel beautiful in whatever clothes you want to wear. I feel like there are no rules anymore. That was the idea.”

Siriano’s message throughout the show was evident – he wants to empower all women to feel sexy and glamorous by embracing diversity and inclusion, and in doing just this, Siriano is changing runway fashion. Christian celebrated his 10th anniversary in fashion with his fall runway show and made a point to mark this significant milestone with a show that will no-doubt leave a lasting impact on the fashion world. Siriano’s milestone celebratory show was amazing and he certainly did not skimp on quality.
His use of ultra-luxe fabrics and high-gloss embellishments truly exemplified high-gloss feminine glamour. He set the sexy-and-strong tone of the show with a series of bright red faux-fur trench coats that were cinched at the waist over color-matching thigh-high boots, followed by a seamless transition into a series of dramatic evening looks in varied silhouettes- all designed with a night-sky-like textile of black velvet with embedded crystals.
For his Glam Fall collection it was all about the nails!
Red nails were all over designer Christian Siriano’s 18th century-inspired presentation. It turns out the bold nails were achieved using KISS press on nails designed by Christian himself.
